Assistance programs exist to help people through hard stretches — but figuring out which ones apply to you, what documents you need, and how the process actually works can be its own full-time job. LocalLift was founded in 2026 to close that gap with clear, honest, well-organized information.
We're not a government agency, a law firm, or a benefits broker. We're a small, independent team that researches public and nonprofit assistance programs and writes about them the way we'd explain them to a friend.
